Red Cross Standard First Aid Recertification Course
We offer the Red Cross 1-Day Recertification for Standard First Aid only which is a one day course, 7.5 hours in the classroom.
To be eligible for the first aid recertification course, you must have all of the following:
- A current first certificate from the listed link below. If your certificate is not listed, or states a type of first aid not indicated exactly on this list, it is not eligible for this recertification course.
- A first aid certificate that is still valid on the day of the course. Expired certificates are not eligible for recertification.
- You must be in possession of your current first aid certificate and bring it with you to the course. To access your electronic certificates, log in to your MyRedCross account at https://myrc.redcross.ca or call 1-877-356-3226.
- NOTE: The recertification course can only be used to re-certify the First Aid and CPR level you currently hold.
Please note that before we can confirm your booking, we require that you email us your current Alberta first aid certificate so that we can validate it and confirm that you are eligible for the Recert. It must be your permanent certificate (for Red Cross certificates it will have a 9 digit certificate number on it), we can not validate a temporary certificate or a BC certificate.
