We offer the Red Cross 1-Day Recertification for Standard First Aid only which is a one day course, 7.5 hours in the classroom.
To be eligible for the first aid recertification course, you must have all of the following:
- A current first certificate from this list of providers: https://ohs-pubstore.labour.alberta.ca/fa018
- A first aid certificate that is still valid on the day of the course. If your certificate is expired you will have to take the Blended First Aid course.
- A copy of your current certificate. To access your electronic Red Cross certificate, log in to your MyRedCross account at https://myrc.redcross.ca, email myrcsupport@redcross.ca or call 1-877-356-3226.
Please note that before we can confirm your booking, we require that you email us a copy of your current first aid certificate so that we can validate it and confirm that you are eligible for the Recertification course.
You may only recertify the level of CPR shown on your current certificate (A or C). You do not have to alternate between the full course and recertification course, as long as your certificate has not expired you can keep recertifying.
Note: Students must be on time and present for all course content instruction, those who are late may be refused admission. Basic literacy and understanding in the language the course is being taught is required
